The SKIL separator is designed for preliminary, primary and secondary cleaning of cereals, groats crops, pulses, industrial and oil crops from light, large and small weed impurities.

Description
The SKIL separator can be used for:
- preliminary cleaning of grain coming from combines or other threshing equipment, including cereals, groats crops, pulses, oil crops and grass seeds, from light, large and small weed impurities separated by airflow, with incoming material moisture up to 20% and impurities up to 10%;
- primary cleaning of the above crops from light, large and small weed impurities separated by airflow and sieves, with incoming material moisture up to 18% and impurities up to 10%, to bring impurity content in the grain mass to basic conditioning limits;
- secondary cleaning of the above crops from waste separated by airflow and sieves, with incoming material moisture up to 13% and impurities up to 3%.
In a single pass, the separator cleans the material from waste separated by airflow and sieves to the limits regulated by GOST R 52325.
The separator is used in process lines for post-harvest grain and seed processing, including grain cleaning units and grain cleaning-drying complexes at agricultural enterprises.
The treated grain and seed material must be loaded into the separator and the processed fractions received using the conveying equipment of the process line or complex.

Design
SKIL is a stationary air-and-sieve separator with an aspiration system, sieve decks and a ball cleaning mechanism. The process diagram shows product movement, removal of light and large impurities, and discharge of cleaned grain.
